I already save. Is this for me?
If you know your exact savings rate, have it automated, and know the month you can leave, you may not need it. Most people who think they save well find their real rate is lower than they assumed once they measure it.
How accurate is the end-of-service calculation?
It uses the legal minimum in each country: Qatar Labour Law No. 14 of 2004, UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021, and the Saudi Labor Law. Many contracts pay more, so treat it as a floor. Free zones such as DIFC and ADGM have their own rules.
I work in Kuwait, Bahrain or Oman. Will it work?
The savings system works anywhere. The end-of-service calculation currently covers Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia only. You can enter 0 as your basic salary to leave end-of-service out.
Do I need Excel?
No. The sheet works in Google Sheets (free) and Excel. The guides are PDFs that read well on a phone.
